"After" is a preposition of time in the phrase "After All We Can Do".

In the Book of 2 Nephi 25:23 it says:
"... it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do."

Neo-orthodox revisionists claim that what is meant here by "after" is "in spite of".  That in fact "after" is not meant as a preposition of time.
I figured I could find the answer in LDS translations of the Book of Mormon online.  If "after" is supposed to mean "in spite of" then the LDS church would most certainly have translated it that way.

I speak Spanish so let's start there.  The spanish version of 2 Nefi 25:23 reads:
"pues sabemos que es por la gracia por la que nos salvamos, después de hacer cuanto podamos"
LDS translators overseen by the prophet, seer, and revelator are using the word "después", in Spanish.  This word is only ever used as a preposition of time.  Never "in spite of".
Here are some possible equivalent English words for "después":

  1. later, afterward
  2. next, after
  3. further down
I also have in my library a Spanish to Spanish dictionary

Spanish-Spanish Dictionary "Aristos", Editorial Ramon Sopena, S. A., Barcelona, 1978  Después. adv. Que denota posterioridad de tiempo, lugar o situacion, o en el orden, jeraquia o preferencia.
Google Translation of  Después. adv. Later denoting time, place or situation, or the order or preference hierarchies

If the intent of 2 Nephi 25:23 was "in spite of" then the LDS Spanish Book of Mormon would read "a pesar de" but it doesn't.  It reads "después de"

Conclusion:

LDS church translation of the Book of Mormon confirms "after" as a preposition of time.

I checked a few references online and I did find one dictionary that confirms this possible interpretation of "after"
